Not many organizations can boast of creating their own billing software and database. We are one of the handful that succeeded in such an endeavor (In-house designed software used for the first ten years since incorporation in 1985). Our current billing and EMR platform is CCHIT certified and NCQA certified GE Centricity Practice Management System. Darnell Associates expertise has allowed us to incorporate GE Centricity so that providers do not incur charges for in house scheduling and registration software.

Effective March 8, 2011, Darnell Associates achieved candidacy status as a Management Service Organization (MSO), desginated by the State of Maryland. Our goal as a MSO is to assist 1000 primary care physicians achieve Stage 1 Meaningful Use by October, 2012.

EHNAC commission approved Darnell Associates as the first and only billing focused entity in the State of Maryland to have approved status as of November 3rd, 2011.
