Consulting rates are $250.00 per hour or a negotiated total fee.

  • Offer solid advice on the efficiency and retention of patients through front office patient management skills.
  • Audits to ensure that in-house staff is not responsible for sudden drop in A/R through possible depletion/dissaperance of co-insurance payments.
  • Offer advice on clinic profile and offer strategies for marketing, reduction of visit rooms in favor of procedure equipment.
  • Reduction of lease costs through IP based phones instead of legacy phone systems.
  • Floor plan efficiency and other objective profiling.
  • Use of kiosks, automated dialing for appointment confirmation, E-prescribing and related advice to improve efficiency.
  • Advice on tail end for malpractice and other malpractice advice.
  • Advice on efficiency by eliminating paper charts and expensive storage solutions.
  • Inquiry into ratio of physician to full time employees (1:5 average).
  • Conduct interviews with staff to gather inefficiencies and produce a broad profile of sustainable and actionable goals.
  • Advice on eliminating inefficient providers who are burdening the group through non-compliant clinical habits.
  • Advice on RVU based compensation.
  • Determine Medicare reimbursement using Algebraic equation and 2009 Fee Schedule [(Work RVU x work GPCI) + (transitioned PE RVU x PE GPCI) + (MP RVU x MP GPCI)] x conversion factor. Definitions: RVU = Relative Value Unit;devised by Medicare to indicate cost of providing services, GPCI = Geographic practice cost index, PE= Practice expense, MP = Malpractice, Transitioned = Transitional year PE RVU to be used (as opposed to fully implemented PE RVU) .
